INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION

HANDLING LINE WITH DUMPER AND ROBOTICIZED PALLETIZING CELL (BAG IN BOX COCACOLA)

Construction of a handling line with belt and roller conveyors, integrated with a box-forming, bag-filling and box-closing machine, as well as modification, configuration and programming of a palletizing cell with a FANUC robot.

The handling line, controlled by a SIEMENS PLC, includes a pneumatic turner orienting the boxes in a way that facilitates the subsequent operation of the palletizing robot.

The control panel includes a SIEMENS HMI screen for configuration of the different box formats, selection of the operating mode and adjustment of cycle parameters.

NUCA MAX “EL MILAGRITO” DEGREASER MANUFACTURING PROCESS

Design, manufacture and installation of the automatic control system for the manufacture of degreaser and floor cleaner in the new Fabrienvaf factory (Dos Hermanas, Seville).

The installation consists in a series of hydraulic circuits that, through the activation of pumps and solenoid valves, lead the different raw material products to a mixing reactor. With the help of flowmeters, the amounts added are measured according to the programmed formula. Mixing is carried out in the reactor with a stirrer and the pH of the product is measured. Finally, the derived product is led to a tank. From this tank, product can be sent to the packaging machines.

In the different tanks there are pressure transducers to have the filling levels.

The entire process is controlled by a SIEMENS PLC, with distributed periphery for field signals, and is supervised and configured through an HMI screen in the control panel and a SCADA in the laboratory, both also from SIEMENS.

REMOTE MANAGEMENT OF COLD ROOMS PORT OF SEVILLE

Control and telemanagement system for two cold rooms of a dairy products transport company. Some temperature and humidity probes are arranged in the chambers, and the control is integrated in conjunction with the existing refrigeration system panels to be able to have the operation control in manual or automatic mode from a remote location, both by PC and by mobile telephone. Likewise, it is possible to supervise the operation remotely in real time, as well as the electrical consumption and other relevant data.

MODIFICATIONS ON RENAULT IDLER PINIONS LINES

Modification of pinion transport lines, including integration with tooling machines, shot blasting machines and washers. The transport consists on a series of conveyors, elevators, descenders, pushers and diverters, them lead the pieces between the different tooling machines and washers. Finally, they are introduced into pneumatic poka-yoke systems for quality control.

In total, the lines and the shot blasting machine are controlled by 12 SIEMENS PLCs, with distributed periphery for field signals. Each line is governed by one or two control panels and several desks to start the cycle and control manually the different elements.

MODIFICATION OF PNEUMATIC MANIPULATOR, ELECTRIC MANIPULATOR AND HANDLING LINE AT RENAULT

Modification in the operation of the pine nut transport line due to the machinery replacement. Adding a 4-axis pneumatic manipulator with HMI screen controlled by Siemens PLC.

It has manual and automatic operation. It is synchronized and communicated with a tooling machine and with conveyor. An electric manipulator with 4-axis Rexroth servos controlled by a Rexroth automaton is added. It also has a manual and automatic mode and is synchronized and communicated with the tooling machine and with conveyor. The maintenance operation, controlled by a Siemens PLC, is adapted to work with the new machinery.

AUTOMATIC CONTROL AND SUPERVISION OF AIR CONDITIONING IN THE ENAIRE RADAR BUILDING (ERILLAS)

We replaced the existing climate control by an automatic one. The new system has remote monitoring and control via web access. From the web you can adjust the temperature parameters, activate the fire mode and display the alarms and operating status. Automatic control is carried out by Beckhoff PLC and coexists with an emergency control which is activated with an event of automatic system failure. The system consists on 7 air conditioning units. The Beckhoff PLC communicates with a Wonderware SCADA for alarms and warnings management.

PALLET ENTRY WITH DATA TRACKING AND AGV COMMUNICATION IN THE COCACOLA FACTORY

Design, programming and commissioning of a pallet conveyor line at the Cocacola plant in Barcelona. The pallets are delivered by AGVs, which communicate us a series of data inherent to the pallet. The pallets go through a series of quality controls (visual inspection and measurement control), and are again delivered at the end of the line to another AGV, accompanied by their data, which the result of the controls carried out has been added.

In this case, the control is carried out through a WinAC installed on a SIEMENS IPC. The screen includes a SCADA made in WinCC.

For validation, a digital twin that allowed test all the software before going to the physical plant (virtual commissioning).

DOUBLE PALLETIZING WITH A COLLABORATIVE ROBOT FOR MULTIPLE FORMATS IN THE AGRI-FOOD INDUSTRY

Collaborative robot from Universal Robots integration with the end of the butter manufacturing line. Design and manufacture of mechanical structure and tool. Robot programming and integration with end-of-line conveyors.

PRODUCTION OPTIMIZATION

ENGINEERING OF THE NEW COMPOSITE PARTS PRODUCTION PLANT (ALESTIS)

We have designed the new plant where Alestis will manufacture parts for the A320. This plant will be one of the most automated in the sector and pioneering means of production in the aeronautical industry will be used.

For the design, the bases of a production system in flow with movement of materials have been followed.
The technical management of the installation of the new plant will be carried out.

OPTIMIZATION OF PRODUCTION IN FLESHLIGHT

Improvement of the production process and time reduction in the complete product manufacturing, packing and palletizing line. New plant layout and improvement of workstations. The roadmap for new projects to be undertaken and their priorities based on their impact on the income statement was also established.

ENGINEERING

LIFTS MANEUVER ADAPTATION TO STANDARD UNE-EN 81-20 AND 81-50 (HIDRAL)

Modification of the maneuver control for hydraulic elevators controlled by OMRON PLC. Electrical diagram design, control panel, electronic boards and electrical installation of shaft, cabin and machine room. New maneuver options such as, mechanical anti-drift system, collective maneuver, voice synthesizer, gong, fire maneuver according to EN 81-73, electronic valve group, configurable inputs and outputs and presence radar on the floor.

ELEVATOR CONTROL PANEL TEST BENCH (HIDRAL)

Design and manufacturing specifications for test benches of different elevators models to verify control panels manufacture and their wiring.

The test bench consists on a box with a controller, either a PLC or a microcontroller which communicates with a PC. The test bench connects to the frame manufactured for testing. A developed software in LabVIEW is executed on the PC to configure and carry out the tests corresponding to the options of the manufactured panel. This software generates a record in the form of an Excel file with the information of the tests carried out to have traceability. In the future it will be integrated with the company's ERP.

MANEUVERING ADAPTATION OF FORKLIFT PLATFORMS TO THE MACHINERY DIRECTIVE AND STANDARD UNE-EN 61204-1 (ELESER)

Control maneuver modification for unaccompanied lifting platforms, with OMRON controller. Wired diagram design, control panel and program. Preparation of test protocol validation.

MODIFICATION OF GLASS PIPE CUTTING MACHINE (RIOGLASS)

Design, manufacture and assembly modification over the glass pipe cutting line to adapt it to the new sizes manufactured pipes. The machine was provided with an adjustable linear movement, our client needed to positioned manually the pipe with a little effort.

A FEM calculation was performed to verify the support of the new loads, both static and dynamic.

MACHINE FOR MECHANICAL ENGINEERING PRACTICES (SEVILLE POLYTECHNIC SCHOOL UNIVERSITY)

Design and manufacture of two machines for carrying out practices that simultaneously include a 4-bar mechanism and a connecting rod-crank-slider mechanism.

Control and visualization interface was made with LabView.

MACHINE FOR THE MEASUREMENT OF THE COEFFICIENT OF FRICTION OF MATERIALS (UPPER SCHOOL OF ENGINEERS UNIVERSITY OF SEVILLA)

Design (conceptual and detailed) and manufacture of a machine for measuring the coefficient of friction between two materials. Force measurement by of a cell load and actuation by a hydraulic cylinder (the aim was also to provide the machine with a didactic character).

Control and visualization interface was made with LabView that also communicates with the PLC.
